The “Bullants” field 4 senior teams in the 32 club Victorian Sub District Cricket Association and have done so since 1922. The VSDCA is the second level of turf cricket competition in Victoria providing a pathway for young cricketers into Premier cricket and beyond as well as a high level of competition for players of all ages.
Our 1st and 2nd teams play their home games at Preston City Oval, Cramer Street, Preston, as it has since the club’s inception. The 3rd and 4th teams play their home games at Crispe Park, Gloucester Street, Reservoir. Our playing, practice and social facilities are second to none.
Our club has grown significantly over the last 10 years. In addition to our 4 senior teams, we host an under 15 representative squad (JG Craig), facilitate a Woolworths Cricket Blast program for boys and girls aged 6 to 9 years old, boast a growing past players and supporters group (the 1860 Club), participate in the cricket Pride Cup and coordinate the Preston Cricket Academy, the benchmark for junior development in our region.
The Preston Cricket Academy has provided winter coaching for local junior players, holding sessions for under 13, 15 and 19 boys as well as under 17 girls. Over 80 players were involved in the most recent Academy program which is provided free for most of the participants.
